We all know that rods from the major suppliers come in pretty colourful boxes bearing their brand name - Murex/Esab etc etc, then there are their 'white box' rods. Same brand name, but this time no colourful box - white box rods obviously being cheaper.
From a technical point of view, what is the difference between the rods. I've used both and cant really say there is a lot of difference between the two.
Would be interested where they make the savings.
