I said to her in doors I fancied having a go at wheeling and needed something to make and had decided on a rocket ship and the reply was, she didn't think my idea would take off. Well I tried. I had to make a CHEAP wheeling machine as the cost of a real one is way too much for my use, so cobbling some old bits and bobs together got me this
This uses a g cramp and some old bearings great for small stuff but realised I needed bigger. So utilising the drill press made this one which proved just about big enough for small pieces I needed to roll .
Joining the pieces began with cutting a small strip behind two pieces and riveting together but this proved fiddly so next I made again from bits and pieces a bead roller from mostly a hand drill picked up for £1
Now this meant joining two pieces one on top of the other and just drilling directly though and holding with cleco's and avdale clips as I go, then pop riveting.
Gradually things take shape
