robot Welding

Hi all first time post.

We have 4 robot welding machines on site, which are programmed by one person, this person has created a program for conducting weld tests and all our operators have been through the weld test, which are all conducted on 1 of the machines, my question is should we be conducting weld tests per machine instead of per person?

Could you clarify "weld test", generally the testing is done per machine as the operators normally just press a button to start the production process.
