Nope, I dont enjoy turkey, would rather do it with chicken if I had to, but not when I could have roast beef.Have you ever tried it ?
I did it one thanksgiving (IIRC 20 years ago) and it was very good.
Not greasy at all.
Care to rephrase that?would rather do it with chicken if I had to
Really?They have frites with a roast…
Now your talkingEven better if they are proper crispy Hassleback potatoes ??
Invariably Danish pastriesI was also surprised that they don't have Yorkshire puddings in the usa either...dunno what they use to hold the gravy![]()
We noticed that they also have scrambled eggs for breakfast heaped on a plate with no toast or anything, eat two forkfuls and walk off leaving the rest to scrape into the bin.One for @Erie Fred
Thanksgiving and Christmas meals always feature mashed potatoes.
Why aren't roast potatoes on the menu?

YupReally?
Deep fried roast beef !Nope, I dont enjoy turkey, would rather do it with chicken if I had to, but not when I could have roast beef.
Please don't put all 350 million (or so) people here in the same category....We noticed that they also have scrambled eggs for breakfast heaped on a plate with no toast or anything, eat two forkfuls and walk off leaving the rest to scrape into the bin.![]()

Yeah, not a fan of them either.Grits not a treat - not vile - but not Cordon Bleu...
Grits (white corn) with butter an cheese is OK (ish).
Given the choice I prefer Polenta (yellow corn)
Yeah, not a fan of them either.
Eggzachary.....It's not that I can't eat it - it is just you need something in it - to give it some taste.
English porridge oats are about the same - nothing to really hate - just bland cheap filling food.
When I was kid - the old American lady down the road when babysitting us - used to feed us Grits with prawns/shrimps in it. Made a big fuss about it - like it was a treat... I ate it - rude not to - when an old lady is feeding you.
It is not too bad with loads of poached eggs on top - let the runny yolks - give it some colour and flavour.
Just going on what we see on TV, I don't believe any real people behave in that way. You can think what you want of me but I don't throw food awayPlease don't put all 350 million (or so) people here in the same category....
Or would you like me to do the same to "Y'all" sir ?

So your doubling down on your assertions......somehow justifying your actions......Lovely.Just going on what we see on TV, I don't believe any real people behave in that way. You can think what you want of me but I don't throw food away![]()
FTFYignore lists with Fred on must be a mile long by now![]()
