What makes a lathe oil country?
Machine dealers and the like seem to use the term like it’s obvious. Is it just a whopping big lathe?

I like bridgeports . Trouble is the sixty or seventy year old worn out dogs that ruin the reputation.
Because it’s light it’s not fatiguing to use. I wine without mine

Yeah they're great machines, hard to find good ones now for reasonable money.

That archdale is very rigid but takes some cranking, although the positioning of the hand wheels is excellent on that machine.

I can imagine it's is a workout to wind that big mill of yours up and down.
