Rewinding motors ?

When I used to live abroad in a not so developed country, there used to be women working from the side of the road who would rewind motors all day long. Very knowledgeable and skilled people.

Yep, in Northern Ghana in every “town” was a hut busy with couple people rewinding domestic fan motors

Look on U-tube to see if there is video of the machines that wind that stator, I worked around one, and it
was fast. And it did 1-3 hp motors, and only 1 at a time.
I have seen at a machinery dealer one that made that size motor, and it was a rotating table afair, doing many at one time.

I'm looking at it as a project to learn how to rewind a stator and see what happens, if I have to buy a new motor then I might as well chuck it.

I think you should bin it.....(But could you send me the hose as the Henry I've just bought from Cheb doesn't have one ...)
