Also Draper magenetic USB rechargeables (2 as I lost the first, it turned up a year later stuck on the frame for my folding camp bed !), compact and magnetic so are very handy when working under the car.

Have had several £5 "3 x AA" Led torches from Aldi / Lidl, great (and very well received) as cheap gifts for dark winter nights, magnetic and also very hand to keep by the back door just in case...

Never thought I'd drop £50 on a torch, but it's as true for torches as it is for all tools: buy cheap, buy often...

We all love a bargain but sometimes you've just got to spend the money because you've had enough of just making do with cheaper stuff. I tend to throw money at the things I use the most....my mate once told me never to buy cheap bathroom taps and he was right.

Looks like you did OK on the price....hasn't been much cheaper for quite a while according to camel camel price tracker....has been up to £89 quite recently!

have a look at Peli Rals System and then cry lol ,, good light gets expensive quickly , but its worth its weight in gold when you can turn on the daylight switch , most things get a lot easier when you can see whats going on .
Or Metalsub for torch porn , I use their stuff when Im in the water .

a guy i work for was getting a kitchen sent over from germany 25 grand then they said there would be a 20 percent extra charge for the container he cancelled it . breg sit no doubt

This may be true. I raised an eye brow reading one of the photographic suppliers emails cooing that new stocks of certain film had arrived and was to be sold cheaper than the last shipment due to the strength of the pound.

I have about 9 of the Peli Rals (smaller ones and 2 of the larger) and the Ritelite K9s, all bought from auction for bettween 10-90 each, normally they blow a fuse and its a pain for the hire company to replace the fuse as it would mean taking it apart so it goes to auction. The fuse costs 2p each and takes 5 min to replace.
