I was also wondedring if Paul G had got his yet and his views.
The switch did arrive and I've opened it up and had a good poke and prod at the working bits.
The verdict?
In my opinion it is well worth the money, a bargain in fact.
However; if I was fitting a reversing switch to a machine in daily use I would buy the one I have fitted to my slip rolls,
but for a machine used just now and again the cheaper one should give many years of service.
In my particular case I intend to fit it to an MT3 pillar drill.
Most of the time the reversing switch will be set in the forward position, and the start & stop buttons used to.. errr... start & stop it.
Only when tapping will I need to reverse the motor.
Cheers,
Paul G

but i think that rating is over the 3 phases as it would be impossible to get any bigger cable on the terminals than 4.0mm and that equates to 30 amp .all in all well worth buying and the price is right there was no vat or impoert duties to pay . just needs wiring in now when i can be bothered
