Kind of drifted away from the forum several years ago although I did lurk on the odd occasion. I retired just over three years ago and after 6 months of total relaxation (i.e. doing absolutely nothing), joined a local Men's Shed where I now dabble in making small ornamental ironwork items like hanging basket brackets. I've added a couple of pics of partially-finished examples.
As I've been working on this stuff, I'm recalling more and more forgotten fabrication techniques but with the constraints of not having any form of heat or power tools other than a grinder . . . it's quite a fun challenge.
Hopefully I'll be a bit more active now.
Stay well and stay safe during these harrowing times.
