Problem is, you live in the highlands, so no point in retraining as a gas fitter!Yep we are its a handy skill to have in lots of ways.

Sensible.I'm an actor apparently! Right I'm orf to the West End to ply my trade by by lovies
The second choice was construction not the sparks I am but as a plumber!
That's funny as my first job offer was for a plumbing apprenticeship but I took the electrical route.
Joking aside there seems to a shortage of decent folk to fix oil and pellet boilers round here. And they are not rocket scienceNo no point in being a gas fitter but the ability to turn your hand to just about anything and being able to put on a reasonable performance in just about any role is a valuable skill in its self.
Exactly, apparently, I would be suited to "Engineering and maintenance" spot-on as that's what I have been doing in one form or another for over 30 Years. The fact that some days I struggle to walk at the moment is, probably insignificant in the ideal world scenarios they dream of. Meanwhile back in the real world, it's not as simple. That looked like a personality test and didn't involve any questions about any actual skills or education. Probably those are just outdated ideas.
