Retractable key chains

Need to get a retractable keychain.... not the curly style.
Tried a few but they seem to only cope with half a dozen keys or they end up hanging down by your knees....
It needs to hold a reasonably large sized bunch.....

Anyone a prison guard? What do they use

When i worked in a prison, they just had a great big key ring with 20+ keys on and a clip on their belt. Aformentioned key ring was attached to aformentioned clip on their belt with a long chain.
Would that work? Never seen the type your after with anymore than a couple of keys on.
