Would an in line air & oil trap before the hose reel solve the moisture problem /condensate . Obviously after giving an initial 3 second purge of free air every session of use ......... before connecting the spray gun ?there ok for light dutyls not much use for spray guns as the moisture collects in the coils and chucks the water out and you get loss of cfm with smallish bore
That really does look a decent hard use reel.I have this. A Dutch brand but made in Poland. Not very cheap, but good quality.

Not really, the warm air from the compressor will cool down after use then condense out to form moisture in the line, you’d probably get most of it out by uncoiling it and purging it, I doubt that 3 seconds would be enough though.Would an in line air & oil trap before the hose reel solve the moisture problem /condensate .
