haven't a clue it held gas and the tank is thick ish so it will hold 150 psi no problem .believe it or not a 1gallon oil can with crimped ends can pressurise to 50 psi before it will burst

My kids have watched videos online where 500ml fizzy drinks bottles will handle 120psi easily.

The hose will most likely burst before a gas cylinder breaks(unless you are using hydraulic hoses)

There is a test pressure marked on my one, can't recall what it is, but it's way up! If I can read it still I will post it on here. It's at least 40 years old & covered in sh.. err paint so may not still be readable

***** Edit ***** test pressure 480 psi, so I don't think it will ever go bang.

It doesn't work like that, the air will move faster through the restriction but its pressure will be lower;

I don't know the name of this device but air flows through the top tube from left to right and the height of the water in the three manometers shows the relative pressures at the three points. You can see the pressure is highest at the start, greatly reduced at the restriction and then regained but still slightly reduced afterwards.

Ahhh Bernoulli's principle ( remembered from OND in mechanical engineering in the 90s)

You would think so but gas fitters to combi boilers run 22mm most of the way then do the last metre in 15. I'd be interested in the answer too

Every right angle in the pipework is taken as an extra metre in the run. A 45 degree is half a metre. I think the maximum run should be no more than 30 metres but, regardless of that, the gas pressure needs to meet the manufacturers' minimum spec with the burner full on.
