I have given it a gentle scrub with some sugar soap and a sponge swab.
Someone told me although teak is tough the bits inbetween the grain are not and harsh scrubbing is a bad idea.
That's taken all the green stuff and grime off.
The grain feels a lot more open than it looks in this photo now the dirt has come out so I'm going to give it a sanding over them a few coats of teak oil over the next few days to see what happens.
