Are you going to mount the stone vertically? Or horizontally (ie, table top or paving)
You're not going to make the cracks disappear but consolidating the slab will need different techniques depending on the orientation.
I wonder if crushing a piece of the stone and mixing with epoxy would make a matching grout/filler for the cracks.
It's a variation of the woodworking technique where you use sawdust from the timber you're using + pva to make matching woodfiller.
