Respray lacquer or wrap

Cost wise on an"old" car i would just go for the hand pads and take your time too make sure it's all got an etch too take the paint, with soapy water helps remove all the paint thats come off, but it'll need degreasing before apint is applied, take your time with the prep. as for paint i use the lechler epoxy from express paints and get them too tint it

There is a Corsa running round locally that looks like it is made of bricks. Very distinctive and turns heads.

I'd love that but might be a bit beyond my skill level not to mention time available. I do like the idea of making features out of issues rather than aiming & missing. I'd thought that wrapping the affected areas would allow me to introduce a pattern or design that'd take the emphasis away from the peeling lacquer. Wrapping's out of the question but I'm sure there's something that doesn't involve trying to get it back to perfect.

The Corsa looks good from 10 feet away. It has been hand painted with what looks like emulsion paint. I am sure that daughter would find anything like this quite fun !

Random camo if actually hard to do. As you go round, you get more confident and the pattern changes and does not look "right", so you have to keep going until it does !
