She uses a Peter Child Pyrography machine for the fine bits and for large areas a fine tip soldering iron. Cutting and sanding flat and drying the wood is the long difficult bit, some of our best bits of beech split just as it got dry enough to work on. Ash and Oak are the best to work with. Seasoned oak is a right pain to cut and sand flat.Wow. That looks great.
How does the burning work? How does she keep it so tidy?
