i just buy cheap masonary drills sharpen them with a cutting edge .spot heat the metal and drill through whilst hot and thats high speed steel mechanical hacksaw blades that i have shortened

On that note Bosch Blue spot masonry drills might do the job, I have a set that I have used for years, not cheap but reground thay might be up to it.
Mr Bean, dare I ask is this one of those 'quick favours' that friends and family ask for?

sorry for late reply sword rigs all done and dusted took them to a place were they lazreed them for me. and no wasn't a favor it was for someone who wanted them done for a king Arthur expedition in lands end
