Hi All
We have a Milwaukee V28 cordless drill at work which has a fair bit of play in the shaft (side to side - not front to rear).
We've just had the chuck and cover off and the motor looks like one sealed assembly. The bearing (I'm assuming its a bearing not a bush ?) is hidden away behind the torque clutch assembly.
Is it possible that we can replace the bearing, or are we better off taking it to a specialist ? It probably needs brushes as well.
If its a specialist job any idea how much for a bearing / brush change and any reccommendations around Leeds / West Yorks ?
We usually break or loose tools long before this stage so we've never done this before They are dear things to but but I wouldn't imagine that the repair would be cheap either !
Any help would be greatfully received.
Many thanks,
Garreth
