Replacing a gun on Siegen 180

    Hi i have got a mig Siegen 180 from my cousin, what i want to ask is possible to update the cable with the gun? Tha cable is to short and is connected to the body, has any one donne any update on it?its worth it to put money in this machine or i sell it.     Can you remove the torch from the machine and photograph the machine end for us to see?

    If the machine is working, then it may be worth modifying it with a Euro Torch conversion, giving you the option of a longer 3 m or 4 m torch lead.
    But if you're new to welding, you won't know if it's OK.
    It's not a good brand. And it will cost you at least 60 Euros to do the mod.

    Yes the machine is working, i feel pitty to throw it. I am not new to welding i just dont know where to get e Euro torch for that machine. I just like to modify it it ok fir 60 euros.

    So now his budget MIG has a nicer, longer Euro torch ... but is still fed by a $20 Chinese feeder.
