As a lot of you know the last few months I have acquired a lot of tools. Both garden, workshop and home.
The plan is to restore them, keep what is useful to Men In Shed, swop with other Men In Shed set up or sell on.
The metal work is going to be easy, citric acid I have just received 20kg of powdered Citric acid.
Now question one.
Where is a good place, on line, by phone or as a shop can I get the following colours of paint. I need it to be a decent metal paint and at a good price.
British Racing Green, Record Blue, Post Box Red and black.
Now a lot of the tools need new handles. I need a “one shot shop”, on line or not, where I can get decent wooden handles for tools.
I know I could shop on line, go visit shops or as I have done buy one of each, get blanks and use a copy lathe.
Those choices are not an option as I plan to get Shed members involved.
I need 1 or 2 places were I can put in a bulk order and be done. I have not the time to visit shops or shop on line.
I have to find out, but I need to be able to do as few orders as possible.
As an indication to what I need to purchase.
Fork, spade, axe, broom chisels, files, screwdrivers.
In fact and tool with a handle.
Any tool what is deemed to be to far gone with be striped, robed for parts and scraped.
Any advice is gratefully received
