Hi Folks
I'm looking to replace my 20 ish year old snap-on welder which was damaged in the recent flooding, the insurance are actually going to pay out for an equivalent model (£750)
Any thoughts on this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....m=150151006646&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=005
i think these have a "pulse" setting which i used quite a lot on the old snap-on for thin stuff.
How about spare parts are these welders horrendously expensive to repair?
Also like the look of the the portamigs but they don't seem to have a pulse setting, is this because they go down to 20A so don't need it?
Thanks in advance
Tel
