How about cutting off the bent handle, straighten both end up and reattach with a sleeved joint as you suggest

What is the inside diameter of it would you be able to straighten it up and use a few ball bearings to form it round while heating the pipe?

Cut them both off at the same place,then replace with round bar,bend,if you can get a bit that'll slot in the old

Both handles would be my choice too.

The bloke who built it and the bloke who uses it are both over six and a half foot

At that size, he ought to be able to bend it back without help.

Cut em both off and make a new pair of improved handles.
You just know once you fix the right they are gonna bend the left. At least you’ll know they are both strong and both the same.

Weld a ply on the end with an airline fitting and reg on it, heat bend to cherry red and pressurise it slowly, if you’re lucky it’ll pop the tube out

I was thinking of similar, but do it cold with a pressure washer. Colin Furze did it it in one of his vid's

I think it would be best to cut off & replace. Bending that back isn't going to be the best fix.

is the pipe one continuous piece? what if you could pressurize the pipe with air then heat the bent bit with a blow torch to expand and straighten the pipe?
