Hi all, I have just started restoring a Mk1 Escort and have amongst other things the sills (inner and outer), A post and footwell to replace. The general advice seems to be to weld a bar between A and B posts while you replace the sill, my problem is the A post is completley corroded so should i replace this first? Is it safe to cut out A post while sills and footwell are about to colapse?
