Just checked eBay for welding gas, and noticed a couple of items that might interest people:
Adams Gas are advertising their usual cylinders on there. Might be useful if like us, you do any trading through PayPal and have money tied up in there.
A seller called bossgas has started selling cylinders of CO2 and Argon/CO2 mix for collection from Wigan. The argomix is 5% CO2, and costs £75 for the cylinder and first fill, then £25 per fill. The 10 litre cylinders are filled to 200bar, so hold 2000 litres of gas, enough for 200 mins of welding.
It's occurred to me that bossgas's cylinders are the same spec as Key Gas in Wrexham's. It'd probably be beneficial to find out where they get their gas from, so that we can find out who they suply in other areas.
