ten minutes later it was off, guess who ended up doing it though.I think most are designed that way as they seem to be tapered or have a valley closer to the outside allowing more clearance between tyre and rim during removal but I have also come across symmetrical rims as well but only steelA sissor jack under an axle works great as a bead breaker it's what I use, poundland sell levers and thats what I keep at home got a machine at work. As far as I know all car wheels are designed for the tyre to come off to the outside.
