Mechanics hands "not a joking matter" - like bricklayers hands - you need to "keep on top of it" - winter/too much washing them - not enough handcream or oil - it can get painful.

Prevention better "than a cure" on this subject!

To remove cured Sikaflex adhesive, the material should generally be heated to a range that softens the polyurethane, typically around
80°C to 100°C (176°F - 212°F), using a heat gun or similar tool. While the service temperature limit for most Sikaflex products is around +70°C to +90°C, short-term, controlled heating to slightly higher temperatures is necessary for effective removal.
It actually changes the chemical structure of the sika and turns it into a chalk like substance.
we do this a fair bit when removing sika from hulls.

That not gonna work on "the poor chaps paws"...

Hand cream and damp gloved up atmosphere - stand back from the solvents - looks a "nicer idea to me" kid...

Annoyingly, he has boarded over it all...apparently he was lining the inside of the roof with polythene sheet, then sprayed foam and put boards up

Wd40 does a fairly good job of getting sikaflex off of stuff.

Or a good soak in water,

Usually one of the best methods.

Chapped hands & broken skin are no fun.

My hands are always bad, this period of the year. Always tended to suffer chap, even as a bairn, due to what some class as obsessive hand washing.

sikaflex will stick to thin air....

Won't stick to polypropylene...just peels off when it's cured
