removing helicoil

got to remove m8 helicoil from pce of tubing.
its from a frame and can't get in with drill.
took ages to get bolt out.
guy dropped it off saying it's scrap as can't get it out after it went tight.

so how do i get it out?
tried hooking end out like i have done when removing them from ali but no joy.

Can you not run a tap into it? Might make it usable again.

Screwdriver to flick one end up then grab it with needle nose pliers and pull hard - it should just uncoil like a spring and pull out. (Or snap)

might have been locktite'ed, I do that on ctitical stuff, a little heat might free off the locktite poss.

managed it ta.
neighbour had tool for doing it like an arrowhead on t-bar.
reason i was struggling was whoever fitted it had put end in about 2 turns away from end, instead of flush.

I think they are supposed to be fitted 1 turn below the surface.

The coil possibly screwed in as the bolt was inserted.
