Been a long time since I last did owt with bearings. Is the outer race hardened? If not, I'd be trying the punch on the side of the rim to deform it inwards and collapse it, looking at those photo's.
X2 for taking it to someone who can weld. It's not a particularly tricky job.
I tried putting the old innards in but the whole assembly was really stiff.
You say you have the inner and balls? put it back together and knock it out using the inner?
I would just press it out after heating the cast or weld the bearing.
