Im quite sure who ever owns the land would sell you a right of access, then 6” of hardcore (1300 ton) youd have a track, 12 k gets you a bore hole maybe 20k due to height. Its doable but far to dear for what it is!

Have you seen where Andrew Camarata managed to get his campers to on his mountain property? There's an access road of sorts, but...

A school friends parents bought something like that back in the late70s in the Northumberland national park. At that time e forestry commission were selling off their redundant buildings.
It was in a pretty poor state no services but they got it lovely and sold it for a good price when the retired and moved back to civilization.

So a guy who is nimble, and fleet of foot, has no problem getting to the shops and back then?
