Remote control light switch

Had one I got from B&Q years ago. It’s connected to the main living room lgts and 2as set up to wor rom the standard sky remote. Ne flick and lights on, keep it held and full dimer control

Well, since I’ve upgraded to sky Q the new control don’t work.

I need a new switch and control etc, been looking on the web and it’s just so confusing with all this Alexa stuff.

I just need a simple switch with its own dedicated dimmer control, I don’t need it to talk to the internet, do my shopping, on line banking, hack into the Russians or supply wiki leaks

Just simple on off and dim

Any recommendations folks ?

didn't think it's that easy anymore.....
i wanted 2(they r available) a miniature pir type switch that fits under a kitch cupboard to turn the lights on and off... very low profile, just wave ur handover it for activation...
given up now to much to choose but nothing like i wanted....

We got a couple of those but as with @Parm they used to work fine with our old tv remote but we changed to a Panasonic tv and they don’t work any more.

New remotes are often bluetooth now so that's probably why you won't get them to work.

keep your old remote or buy one of the "one for all" remotes that you see on ebay?
