As part of the local Remembrance Sunday event myself and a group of other volunteers took one of our heritage diesel locomotives a 3 mile trip up the disused coal line to sound the whistle at the end of the 2 min silence. This was the first loco over the line in 8 years. We've spent the last 4 weeks carrying out work on the line to enable us to run on it.
