Hi, I have the Hobby Weld 5 Tank off:
https://hobbyweld.co.uk/products/hobbyweld-5-mig-welding-gas/#information-tab-cylinderc
It states the fitment is 5/8 BSP which is according to google chart a 14 pitch thread.
I bought a regulator which states G5/8-14 which I presume means 5/8 thread at 14 pitch but googling G5/8-14 only returns the Ebay listings.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Argon-CO...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
All ebay and amazon listings list the same spec.
But will not screw in, it is only a smidging too big!
Any idea why and what does G5/8-14 mean then if not 5/8 BSP?
I emailed some sellers and they said all they know is whats on the listings!
I don't know what to buy now if they all say the same thing!
I rang the place I got the cylinder and he said he is just a distributor and knows nothing about the connector!
Cheers.
