Regulator orientation for Acetylene J and oxygen Y cylinders

can anyone please tell me if I need side entry or standard regulators for the following cylinders please as i want to order some kit in advance while i am waiting for the bottles to come in stock and i forgot to ask the local agent

Acetylene Size J
Oxygen size Y

From my experience nearly all boc cylinders with the exception of Co2 , refrigeration gases and propane from boc are standard vertical outlet.

Hello Chris,

BOC seem to have changed their acetylene cylinders with an inbuilt valve handle and a horizontal outlet. I still use my normal regulator with them.

In that case the OP may be better off calling this local depot to see what cylinders they will be supplying.

i have only seen one of those and that was when boc were importing from france after the fire at the filling depot.
But i haven't used a boc acetylene since the last winter.
