Regulator for SGS or Hobbyweld Argon Mix

Hi,

Would anyone care to make a guess, whether this regulator would fit SGS, Hobbyweld, or either. I'm thinking not just the coupling, but whether the guages will clear the guards arount the top of the cylinder. I've seen others where the guages are at 90 degrees so stick right out, but the sort I link would be neater (if it fits)

I think it will fit just fine

Here are photos of mine on a hobbyweld bottle FWIW this reg came with my R Tech Welder



Better yet, buy the reg first and bring it with you when collecting a bottle.

This way you can make sure it fits OK but more importantly test that the bottle is actually full before you leave their depot!

Sounds strange but I have had several issues with Hobbyweld before trying to sell empty bottles as full ones!

Cheers. That looks like is was intended for a bottle with vertical outlet.

But looking at the bottle looks like the outlet just about sticks out beyond the guard which is hopeful.

It fits neatly. SGS 10L 5% CO2/Argon

I swap my set between boc and sgs tanks without bother.

What this means to the original question, I don't know, but the information may be useful.
