Be careful if changing the region on a PC DVD player, some only allow a very limited number of region changes before they lock to the last selected region. You will be in Regedit trying to sort it out before long.Needs a region one coded player or one that ignores regions. Pc might do it

NTSC / PAL was not normally a problem but SECAM (used in France) could be, having said that we installed a number of Sharp TVs in Lille which were shipped from the UK and worked with out any problems earlier this year, I can only assume the signal was detected and accommodated for without any user input. All the tVs were set to UK for us to read the menus then switched back to France for the end users, it did not affect the operation.Hi, Is the DVD marked up as PAL or NTSC?
Will any of the above suggestions overcome or remedy that?
