Time to build a cart for it. The suitcase failed under stress testing (lol) so I’m gonna use rope and wood
This is for bumping on and off a train? My worry would be the strength of the axle mounting, especially if it needs to survive being dropped onto the wheels from curb height or off a train. Take a repair kit with you (not kidding), some screws and webbing straps, bits of wood etc. and pay attention to the handles. Don't make up handles as a last minute "that will do". The handle will need to be comfortable, as the correct height and strong enough for you to lift it from.
Make it so that the handle end is facing downwards, and then you can use the bolt holes to secure it to the frame. It should be fine that way provided you close the jaws completely, and it keeps the main weight near the axle.
Clamp the pin in another vice and rotate & lift the body off the pin.
