Evening,
We are having the stonework at the front of our house restored soon, there is a section under my bathroom window that used to be a door and has been bricked up.
I'm having a stonemason do something less crap with this area but there is what I presume to be an old overflow pipe sticking out of it, possibly for an old heating system with water tanks?
I've never seen anything come out of it in the 2.5 years I've been here, both the bath and sink have modern overflows which go into the plug drains and the central heating is a combi boiler at the other end of the house with its own pressure relief and condensate pipe.
Anything else it could possibly be for before I chop it off?
