Red by Lorch???

Has anyone tried the Red by Lorch 200a mig welder? it looks a good basic mig that seems to lay a good weld, judging by the only YouTube video (German) I can find it looks pretty good. Id be interested in in any opinions of people trying it though. or any other recommendations for a sub £600 200a+ mig welder!
I have a migatronic Centig for fancy welding and a migatronic rally mig (lovely but not enough amps).

Jasic's are a lot more money! double in fact, if I were going to spend that I would be getting a Kemppi as they are similar money to the Jasic 200a

The "IDEAL TECNO MIG 202 LED" is also available from a seller in Lithuania, for 328 Euro, about £285. They do offer shipment to UK.

Knowing the cost/quality of Lorch welding machines, I would be wondering, if even if Lorch had anything to with cheap imported welders.....even ones for £600.00..


You might find a small S/Hand stick but a mig...

Gone with the times - you can't compete with China.

Did you hear ESAB bought EWM? They will be Indian crap soon too. EWM became World leader in plasma arc after ESAB killed thermal dynamics. Now the investment bankers at esab will kill another brand.

Yes, but Jasic has a 5 year warranty and they don't really go wrong.

If you was buying a Lorch Micor or M series I'd tell you brilliant machine go for it. But rebranding a cheap machine, will only lead to tears.
