Record Machine Vice - Unknown?

Hi all
I have just acquired this machine vice to use on my lathe/mill machine. I've never seem this model before. Does anyone recognise it and can give me details (e.g. model num, manual/catelogue).

This is from a 1967 catalogue not the same but very similar

It could be a 643, but there are definitely some differences.
I will know more when it arrives.
Those 644 and 645 look great. I would love to own one of those.
