Record 112 Bench vise

I'm a new member - hope my query is relevant to this forum. I recently acquired a Record 112 vise and I would like to find out how old it is

While cleaning it up, directly above the 112 I found some letters in the casting that read ''CHILL' , at least I think that's what they read

Any data much appreciated
