Recommended blades for a Rapidor Minor?

Job slipped in clamp, and broke the blade.

It's been on there so long I cant remember where i put the replacements!

So what do people recommend I buy?

Normally it's cutting mild steel, but I was planning on sticking a cylinder head in there to get it unit small enough chunks for my crucible. Maybe I'll just use the same tpi and try and get the coolant pump working?

Anyway, pointers as to what to buy please? Somthing I can do online, else it won't get done!

New old stock Eclipse on my Qualters and Smith. They come up quite cheap from time to time

Eclipse are good and I've found Kennedy ones from Cromwell aren't bad either.

Ill have to check the length - I just assumed evreyone would know! : )

Do I measure the length of the whole thing, the length between the holes, the length of then cutting edge, or what?

Seems this is the only photo I can find of mine at present, which is rubbish! (the day I picked it up, I think) - but, yeah, it's s rapidor Minor.

yea its a bit loud but the paint was peanuts for half a gallon . I have half a gallon of gold hammerite I got for 4 quid but I cant bring myself to paint anything with it how many blades are you needing julian

Given that the one on there has lasted about a year, and I have spares... somewhere... just enough to get me going again.

I got a box of Kennedy 4tpi blades. They seem to cut though everything I put in it.
But I do keep a fine eclipse for box section.
