Decided i want to get a water cooler for my sherman 206P AC DC welder.
I think i've got the cooler sorted : https://weldes.shop/en_GB/p/Sherman-Welder-Water-Cooler-WS-7,5LT/3509
But not from weldes as they not longer ship to the uk.
So i will need a water cooled torch to go with it, I was going to get this one : https://weldes.shop/en_GB/p/Sherman-TIG-Welding-Torch-X35-T-20-4m-35-50mm/5496
Being a sherman brand it'd be mostly plug and play, but i can't seem to find anyone selling that in or to the uk (and first thing i'd do is remove the euro style grip anyway)
i mostly use a 17 size air cooled torch, and have some consumables for a size 9 torch, but loads for size 17/26 size torches.
I don't do that much welding to be honest, just when i break things or occasionally decide to make something... and i have a project i want to do this year that will involve a fair bit of welding,
so much as i'd like something like a CK superflex, i can't really justify the price,
but i don't want the cheap rubbish that wont last very long, and has tiny water passages in the head and uses as little copper as possible in the power cable.
What would be a decently priced torch with a 4 meter umbilical, and ideally not a euro style handle?
One other question, the coolant to use in the water cooler, any recommendations for that? my welder lives in a workshop that has frost heating, so never gets below freezing in winter (but always the chance of the heaters dying without me noticing)
