The Bosch grinder I have now has been great for the past ~25 years. Using it today, with a large flat wire brush, I dropped it and what happened next was very scary. That grinder has an on-off switch which has only a self-latching position for ON, so it continued to run and bounced around violently over the workshop floor until it eventually pulled its own 13amp plug out.
Later in the day I was in B&Q and looked at the grinders on display including a Bosch; all had two-stage ON-OFF switches, the first stage springing back to OFF if not pushed forward. That said, it seemed to need an awful lot of effort to push it forward.
Can anyone recommend a good grinder (I think the one I have is~45W) with a good "dead man's switch".
Thanks
