Current: This is an old 'garage' space. Single skin brick save for double skin pillars to strenghthen walls
9.5" meters long and 5 meters deep with a tappered wall height rear 2.5m to front 2.1m
It has 4 sets of doors which all open up on to the same space there is no internal walls at all, the roof is some form of asbestos corrugated roof sheets supported on steel poles.
Project: remove roof and doors and open up the space to be used as a communal area.
We have no access to any of the external walls so to be left as is.
Current thoughts and possible jobs in order..
Leave the roof on and get the rougly 47sqm of the internal wall rendered with some type of coloured render.
Contractors in to remove the sheet roof and then remove all the rest of the debris
or remove the roof then get the render done
The reason we are thinking render is to give the wall a fighting chance when it will be getting wet on both sides ect and would some sort of wall capping be in order.
All help gratefully received
