I had the same model I believe. Best thing was they called it there light industrial model. I wore the chuck out in the end and it was cheaper to replace the whole body. There was nothing light industrial about it. Granted I finished it off in less than 3 years but if you were to equate that 3 years into normal user time it’s probably lived for 2 decades. The batteries are still going strong despite probably more than 1000 charges. It was really cheap too about £55 for the body. It’s almost considered consumable at that price. They do build em well. Ironically I’ve gone on to full blooded industrial gear now and it’s used 2-3 times a week at best. I’ve gone about it all wrongI’ve got the gsb one Richard - very good for the money. Undoubtedly you can spend more and get a better one but I think for the money they offer excellent performance, nice and compact too![]()
Well I couldn't wait any longer. I wanted the Bosch FC ideally with the brushless motor but they are too difficult to find and when you find one, turns out the seller is lying...
So I bought this:

I used this discount code: PNY2018 and got £35 off the listed price, plus I should get the Bosch discount which is another £25 cashback.
I think the code is valid for all eBay transactions until 6pm today. Dip yer bread in...
Is that really gutsy enough for what you want. They are more suited to zipping little panel screws out and light drilling.Well I couldn't wait any longer. At only 30nm max torque it’s not going to do any hard work at all.

The Erbauer brushless is on offer at the moment for £80: https://www.screwfix.com/p/erbauer-eri691com-18v-2-0ah-li-ion-brushless-cordless-combi-drill/5304p
They might do mate. I couldn’t say for sure as I’ve not used one. I just read the stats and 30Nm sounds very feeble indeed when you consider most 18v drills nowadays put out 90-130Nm I know he wanted something smaller than 18v but that’s a good chunk down on power from it.If it's owt like the dedicated drill & driver, they do have a fair bit of poke for their size.

Yes it’s a bad example really as it’s an m18 fuel2What drill do you have Richard, not seen any drill that high, assume it must be a a very high spec expensive model?
