for anyone in the future reading this after many years of use my 3 versions of these in daily use still work fine.

Action on the buttons is good though the main buttons are quite sensitive

Can't you adjust the sensitivity of those by going to Control panel > Devices and burrowing down from there?

Possibly could but its actually working now, if I start 'burrowing' it could stop working! Besides, I'm getting used to it now anyway.

Almost impossible to eff it up, you're only changing settings. Iirc, the adjustments are done on a 'slider' bar so slide one way to speed up the mouse response, the other to slow down.
