I too have a Macnaught, it is single handed, 400g capacity, flexible spout. Excellent piece of kit.
Yep. Only gun out of ten or so different brands that would cope with using a cartridge or two a week.
There’re great if everything is moving, but a lever is a must for seized things, it’s never ending you end up with 10 different grease guns to make life easy.
My old Alemite gun is the basic long-lever (two-handed) type, and it has functioned perfectly since I was in college, which is a LONG time ago, and it was already used when I got it. However, it just occurred to me that you may have been referring to the coupler not being able to go deep enough into a hole or cavity to reach a deeply recessed Zerk fitting, in which case this version of the coupler might be a solution:The problem with the clamp on couplers is often they're too big to fit in the hole some designer stuck the grease nipple in...
Possibly Allube, Ltd.? I like the Alemite clear-tube models. The lever-action versions are rated at 10,000 psi, and the pistol-grip versions at 7,500 psi. Scroll down on the page to get the specs.Just trying to find somewhere to buy an alemite gun now.
