I quote the manual - you know....that thing that none of us ever read . "Turn the knurled screw [8] downwards in order to drive the fastener more deeply into the workpiece. Turn the knurled screw [8] upwards in order to drive the fastener less deeply into the workpiece."

My brain has many dim recesses where such information is stored.

What are you stapling?

I bought an Aldi/Lidl hammer tacker stapler a few years ago.
Done 1000s of 12 and 14mm staples with it: felting. Underlay. 6mm ply - both to floorboards, and drawer bottoms.

Does 6mm to 14mm staples, as well as brads

Accuracy comes with practice.

<Edit> I also used it to staple 4mm? wire mesh to a 3x2 frame.
And chicken wire.

Hi Slim, mine has that, it's just a mechanical height adjuster, I thought you were on about a pressure device. Mine if used on soft wood at the 90psi on the instructions is far too powerful.

I thought you were on about a pressure device.

Mine seems to vent [more] air out the body of the gun when set to it's least aggressive setting. Certainly pushes then in less.

the job yesterday was 6mm ply, but its always handy
