Recommend interesting websites

Hi. Looking for some intetesting websites as sat bored in front of telly and get moaned at if i go to the workshop on a Saturday night.

Stuff I like is homemade stuff - engine swops, self built engines, off grid living, recycling. Anything but I like a bit of inginuity.

I'm lucky, my wife cannot stand strictly, xfactor, the voice, that Alan Sugar thing or anything like that. It's like the tele has an auto off switch when anything like that comes on
